Researchers Characterize Natural Compounds Revealed by FUSION Mapping

CTD² researchers at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center determined the structure and biosynthetic pathways of a family of natural compounds that inhibit the discoidin domain receptor 2 (DDR2) receptor pathway, which may contribute to growth and proliferation of some cancers. These results are published in the Journal of American Chemical Society.
